Camping at Les Trexons

The camping site consists of several fields and lanes and approximately 36 free camping pitches. These are spacious (average 100m2) and green. Some places have more sun, others more shade, in the open field or between vegetation. The campsite is located in an agricultural and wooded area and is separated from the forest by the Goulle stream. You can walk straight into nature from the campsite.

Electricity is available at every pitch (6 amp). The water on site is drinkable. The sanitary building is centrally located, with toilets, free (family) showers and washing up facilities. The reception also has a living room function (with opening hours), a bar with local drinks and there is a kidsroom for bad weather. There are several playing fields, with and without equipment.
Reservations are recommended for the months of July and August.

The seasons

Although we receive most campers in the summer (July and August), the Vosges is also beautiful in spring, autumn and winter. To enjoy this, we have extended the camping season from mid-April to mid-September and the apartment remains accessible all year round. In the Vosges we have four seasons. Summers are usually pleasantly warm with occasional heavy showers. It cools down in the evenings. In late summer and autumn the environment changes color and mushrooms sprout from the ground. You will find many local residents in the woods with their baskets full of porcini mushrooms, chanterelles, and other fungi. Because it becomes quieter at the campsite, the chance of spotting animals is much greater. Snow still falls here in winter, although it is less than before. From the campsite you can reach the wintersport areas within 20 minutes, where you can go skiing, sledding and cross-
country skiing. When spring comes, we enjoy the sun at the campsite, the fields full of flowers and butterflies, while there is still snow higher up. This is also a great time for bird- and wildlife lovers to come camping.
